Part 5: Managing your Sale Opportunities

Sale Opportunities represents a potential transaction with a customer. We want to record things like estimated value, estimated close date, probability of success, which Account and Contact the opportunity is for. All this data will allow us to track the pipeline of work that could come down the line. This information allows us to redirect resources to greater value customers or identify periods of time where we may need contractors to help us complete the work.

It is possible to have many opportunities linked to the same account and contact. For this reason, we need to build a separate data table for Opportunities.

Let me quickly build it and then I will explain.
